Support Groups

Support groups can be very helpful for those who have completed a drug treatment program. These groups give former addicts the support they need through the difficult recovery process by sharing experiences of other former addicts. Support groups can be integral to those who are seeking life long sobriety from drug and alcohol use.

There are a variety of support groups available for those who are seeking freedom from drug and alcohol abuse. Alcoholics Anonymous is one of the most well known across the world. In addition, there are other AA 12 step programs such as Cocaine Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Co-Dependents Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, and Over Reactors Anonymous. These organizations establish a strong sent of fellowship among members throughout the recovery process
