Cocaine Anonymous

Cocaine Anonymous is an organization for individuals seeking recovery from cocaine addiction in any form. They follow a twelve step program very similar to Alcoholics Anonymous. In addition, Co-Anon supports friends and families members of cocaine addicts. 

Cocaine Anonymous’ primary purpose is to help individuals stop all use of cocaine in any form as well as all other mid altering substances. There are not dues or fees involved, and they are usually supported by voluntary contributions by members. Cocaine Anonymous is solely concern with personal recovery and maintenance of long term sobriety. CA does not engage in research, dug education, or propaganda.   In addition, Cocaine Anonymous is not affiliated to any political or religious organization and is open to people from all walks of life. 

Cocaine Anonymous groups hold regular meetings across the country. There meetings are open often open to all, whether they are addicts or not. Many meetings are closed, in order for members to feel more comfortable about sharing their personal feelings. At these meeting, individuals discuss general issues and share their experiences with each other. Members develop a strong sense of fellowship by sharing and listening to others experiences that has been successful in helping thousands recover from addiction.  

Members are encouraged to seek encouragement of a sponsor. Sponsors are typically older members of the group who have experienced all twelve steps. Sponsors give guidance and advice throughout the twelve step program used by Cocaine Anonymous. Having a rewarding sponsor relationship strengthens the fellowship of the organization.
